Abstract— An international freight transportation of Mongolian railway is willing to increase 2.5 times in 2016 compared to 2015, in addition to the future looks significantly increase rail freight transportation. One of the main terms of freight in a safe and reliable with a train control problem is studied is a clear-thinking in its technology to address ZigBee-based wireless sensor networks. We defined the structure of the proposed multi-hop, multi-tier network topology and design of power free sensing system for freight train monitoring. In order to implement power free sensing system, we designed the wind energy harvester in real environment with numerical investigation on blade and velocity and real experiment in train of Mongolian Railway Company.
